Amazing drawing hacks for everyone:

If you love drawing or doodling, why not take it a step further and become a master through this small well-constructed drawing tutorial we created for you. Drawing can be used as a form of therapy. It can help you relax and relieve anxiety. So quit everything your doing and go get a sketching pad to start drawing with us.

1. How to draw lips:
When it comes to drawing lips and finding the right proportions for the anatomy of the human lips can be difficult. Instead, od drawing two curves on top and then connecting them with a slighter larger curvy line at the bottom here is what you can do. Draw two circles next to each other, then draw another circle approximately the same size in the middle top of those two circles. Then, use those circles as guides to draw the upper and lower lip. You will see right away the lips you drew now seem more realistic and proportional.

2. How to draw curly hair:
If you are struggling with drawing curly hair, don’t worry because you are not the only one. Here is what you can do. Instead of drawing s swirl doing downwards over and over again, draw two parallel lines, then inside those lines start drawing parallel lines again going downwards but let them have some distance between each other. After that connect those lines by drawing more parallel lines behind the ones you just drew to show them a real curl is actually showing. Finally, start shading with your pencil.

3. How to draw an eye for beginners:
If your drawing skills when it comes to drawing eyes are still the same level as they were in primary school, then try this drawing technique. First, draw an almond shape while holding your pencil from a higher point than you normally hold it from. This will allow your hand to draw more freely thus avoid those harsh lines that occur when you hold your pencil. You can try using a 2B pencil, and HB, a graphite pencil or a 4B if you would like a softer essence.

Then when you draw the first almond shape, add more shading on the top part of the eyelid to draw the eyeliner. Shade the inner corner and the outer corner to give your drawing more dimension and enhance the realism effect on this little piece of art. Draw the iris with various shading values to make it look sparkly and then finally draw the eyelashes and the eyebrows.

4. Doodling ideas:
Whether you like doodling in your class, or you recently got into bullet journaling, try some of our doodle ideas in the video to add extra decorations to your bullet journal or your sketchbook. You can create kaleidoscope patterns using graphic design markers or watercolors. In addition to that, you can create an optical 3D illusion drawing using the No 7 as we demonstrate in the video. We create these optical illusions by recreating the structure of a notebook but we keep out some lines in order to create the 3d illusion drawing. It may seem complicated but once you saw such drawing to your friends in school, they will make you the artistic genius of the class.

  8. Is it just me that my drawings look better than the “before” drawings, but worse than the “after” drawings?

    Nope just me, okay 😳😐

  9. Why am i watching this? I go to art class for a reason…

  10. I've got some things to say..

(If you want art channels that have good tutorials, look at the bottom of this comment)

There are hardly any art tips in here. It's basically "Look at me draw this "badly" and then watch me draw it better" You can't just compile a bunch of videos together, speed them up, give barely any explanation, and then call it art tips. That's lazy and honestly a terrible way of giving art advice. Yeah you gave SOME tips in the description, and not even good tips, but past that nothing else is explained.

There are THOUSANDS of different ways to draw hands, lips, faces, eyes, bodies, ect. Sure, some of the "Tips" that were given can be useful. But I'm looking at this as an experienced artist who has been drawing for 11 years and understands how these tips work. If I was still little 12 year old me, I wouldn't understand how a lot of these worked or why they did the things they did. I only know now because I've heard these tips EXPLAINED before. Why do you use two circles on the bottom and one on top for the lips??? I personally know it has to do with the volume the lips have, and breaking it down into those shapes help to understand that volume. But that wasn't at all explained at all. Proportion was mentioned, but not explained WHY. It was just "Hey, you wanna draw lips in this very specific way? do this."

I feel like this type of video can be somewhat damaging to younger artists just because they may feel like they aren't good enough if they can't draw better by using these "5 minute tips". You make it look like these tips just solve all the art problems people have. You say to "become a master". There is no way you can become a master through this video alone are you kidding??? I feel like there just wasn't any thought or heart put into this video at all. You didn't want to actually help people learn to improve their art, you wanted views and likes.

Here are art channels with GOOD art tutorials/speedpaints:
–DrawWithJazza – cartoons / character design / animation / anatomy / art in general / He has a LOT of tutorials and I highly recommend him for most of your art tutorial needs
–Lavendertowne – character design / graphic design / art theory
–Audra Auclair – Art prints / painting / software / anatomy
–Cyarin – digital painting / speedpaints
–Danica Sills – watercolors / other miscellaneous tutorials
–DrawingWiffWaffles – anatomy / styles / digital and traditional
–Happy D. Artist – painting (usually oils)/ anatomy / Also a wonderful series called 30 days of art. Wonderful discussions on art and good for the psychological/philosophical side of art

These are just the artists I personally follow and have found helpful in my own art journey. They all have speedpaints, videos, and tutorials that I found helpful. There are plenty more online these days that go into full depth of different techniques and tricks to use in art. These artists might not cater to your own art journey but there are plenty out there for you as well.

If you'd like to add to this list of great art channels with wonderful tutorials then please leave a reply to this comment and share!!
